A few friendly reminders:
  • Be sure to bring plenty of water, as it’s shaping up to be a beautiful sunny day, with a high of 84 degrees!
  • Give yourself enough time to get to the site, as Sheridan Road construction near Northwestern may make your drive a little slower.
  • Please note that there are no indoor restrooms on site, but there are a couple porta potties near the courts.

Match Format: We will be following a round-robin format. Each match will be the first to 8 games, no-ad scoring; you must win by two, with a tie-breaker at 8-8. The winners from each group will proceed to single-elimination play (finals) on Sunday. Draws will be posted on-site. For complete rules and regulations, go to http://evanstontennis.org/register-for-the-2017-fall-tournament/.

Fees: If you have not yet paid for your entry or your ECTA membership is not up to date, Board Member Allison Cohen will be on hand to collect cash or checks made out to the Evanston Community Tennis Association. The entry fee is $30 per player (regardless of whether you are playing one event or two), and your 12-month membership is $25. (Not sure of your status? Email allisonc2751@gmail.com.)

Tournament giveaways for all entrants and prizes for all finalists! We also will provide snacks (bananas and nutrition bars).
