Register Now: 25th Annual Fourth of July Tournament

Registration is now open for the ECTA’s 2026 Fourth of July Tournament!

Early rounds of self-arranged play begin May 31. This year, the finals for each category will return to Ackerman Park, located along the Fourth of July parade route on Central Street in northern Evanston, and take place on Saturday, July 4.

Enter up to three events for one price (details below)!

ENTRY DEADLINE: End of day Wednesday, May 27, 2026

DRAW POSTING: May 30

EARLY ROUNDS OF SELF-ARRANGED PLAY: May 31-July 2, 2026

FINALS: Saturday, July 4, at Ackerman Park

NOTES: Please include tournament experience/seeding information no matter what your level! For doubles, you and your partner must register and pay separately!

NOTE: Must be age 16 or older by June 1, 2026, to enter.

    ONLINE REGISTRATION AND FEES:

    All registrations must be made online. Each entrant must submit a completed official Entry Form online on the ECTA website. (Doubles partners must each submit a completed form with entry fee.)

    Entry fees may be paid via Zelle (submit this form for payment information) or by mailing a check made out to ECTA to:

    An entry form without the appropriate entry fee will not be accepted. Players may enter up to three events (no more than two doubles or two singles categories per person.) E-mail will be the primary method of communication with you on the progress of the tournament..

    AGREEMENT TO ASSUME RISKS AND TO HOLD HARMLESS:

    As a condition for entry, I, my family, and my heirs do hereby agree to assume all risks associated with my participation in this tournament and to hold Evanston Community Tennis Association, the Tournament Chairman and Referee, the City of Evanston, Northwestern University, and the Evanston 4th of July Association, including their officers, boards of directors, committees, members, affiliates, and employees, jointly and severally harmless from any and all suits or claims resulting from any injury or accident that results from my participation in this tournament, regardless of cause.
