2016 Fall Tournament RESULTS
Women’s Singles – Sarah Smith d. Fran Caan 10-5.
Men’s Open Singles – Jay Woldenberg d. Edgar Raya, with solid semi-final play from Ben Schamisso and Jay Nazario.
Men’s 3.5 Singles – Thomas Gu d. John Cabrera 10-6 (With a big shout out to Ken Rattner who made it through round robin stage, only to fall to John Cabrera in a marathon semi, 10-9).
Women’s Doubles – Cathy Witt/Keiko Anno d. Mitra Hartmann/Alex Doty 10-7.
Men’s Doubles – Jay Woldenberg/Tim Fisher d. Rey Nano/Edgar Raya 10-6.
Mixed Doubles – Jay Nazario/Betsy Werthheimer d. Bill & Fran Caan 6-0, 6-1.

Start time is 8:30 AM for singles. Doubles is 1:00 PM.
We will have a party/after event get-together at Prairie Moon on Saturday starting around 4:30. Free hors d’oeuvers courtesy of ECTA and Prairie Moon. Look to gather in back space and hopefully outside on patio.
(Also, please feel free to bring an old racquet you no longer use to donate as part of the USTA program ongoing during September to collect for kids and new players that would benefit from your generosity. ECTA is coordinating with the regional USTA office.)
